GeNOME is an open source and 100% free Linux operating system based on the tiny and popular Puppy Linux distribution, featuring the lightweight MATE desktop environment. In the tradition of Puppy Linux, GeNOME is a lightweight Linux operating system that features the fastness of the MATE desktop and the lightness of the Puppy distro. The latest version of the GeNOME is based on Puppy Precise and distributed as a single Live CD ISO image, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures. It can installed on a local hard disk drive or USB flash drive.
