MovieThumbs GNOME is an open source script, a patch for the GNOME desktop environment, to generate thumbnails for video files, using movie posters fetched from the tmdb.org (The Movie DataBase) website. MovieThumbs is designed in such a way that it works with both KDE and GNOME desktop environments, and their default file managers, Dolphin and Nautilus.
