PhpEdu is a Web-based educational management system for instituitions of higher learning, especially universities.Some of the features included are a set of e-learning modules which allow lecturers to deliver online courses, set homework, administer tests and exams, and more.Other interesting features include admissions, course registration, attendance, fees, and alumni modules.Requirements:· Apache webserver· PHP 4.x+· MySQLInstallation:For now you can only install the package manually.1. Unpack the package into a directory on your web server. For example /htdocs/phpedu or /wwwroot/phpedu 2. Manually install the database. The schema and data SQL files are in the /install directorya. Create a database, either from the command line or PhpMy Admin or any other similar tool.b. Create the tables with data from schema.sqlc. Populate the tables with sample data from schema_data.sqlIf you are using PhPMyAdmin or any other tool that supports compressed files, you might want to use schema.tar.gz and schema_data.tar.gz because the files are smaller than the .sql ones.3. Edit config.php with your own data.Testing the installation:1. Go to where you installed it, for example http://loclhost/phpedu/. Hopefully everything should be fine.
