Xfce Volstatus Icon Description
Xfce4 Volstatus Icon is an open source software that resides in the system tray area and acts as a helper for easily and quickly ejecting removable devices from your system. By default, Xfce4 Volstatus Icon is a daemon that runs in the background and monitors removable volumes. When a removable media is inserted, an icon will appear in the system tray, allowing users to easily, efficiently and safely unmount (eject) the volume(s), without needing to open the Xfce Terminal or the Thunar file manager. The project is designed to work only with the Xfce desktop environment.
