A dark mod of the Elementary theme for GNOME elementary-darkMod is the Elementary Theme (before version 2.0), with the new dark Panel and dark Menus, but the old scrollbars.Developer commentsThe new gtk Elementary 2.0 is very good, but I had problems with scrollbars on OpenOffice, so I changed the old theme and added some code from the new version.Now I have the old working version, with the old scrollbars, but with the new dark style on the Panel.Using Faenza-Dark icon theme.All credits for the theme are from the original author, Daniel P. Fore. Sorry if I added bugs, I just grouped some code from the old and the new theme.How to install?· Right click on your desktop and select Change Desktop Background· Click on the first tab: Theme· Drag and drop the theme's archive in the Appearance Preferences window.· If everything is OK, you will receive a confirmation message and you can activate the theme just by clicking on it.About GNOME:GNOME is an international effort to build a complete desktop environment—the graphical user interface which sits on top of a computer operating system—entirely from free software.
