mzSquash Description

A compression tool for mzML files mzSquash is a compression tool for mzML files, an XML-based standard developed by HUPO PSI for spectrometer output. The resulting .mzsquash file can be decompressed back into a mzML file, or read using an included SAX reader. Requirements: · Java 2 Standard Edition Runtime Environment What's New in This Release: · First release includes a utility (mzsquash) to compress the mzml file as a .mzsquash, and a utility (mzunsquash) to decompress the .mzsquash file. There is a SAX reader accessible through the Java API as well.
