CrissCross is a small cross-platform C++ library for threading, console and file I/O, CPU identification (CPUID), and sockets (TCP and UDP).The main goal is to provide the ability to write a program using identical calls on the major platforms (Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, and Mac OS X) without needing to rewrite code.CoreCPUID is only currently supported on IA-32 (x86) processors. There is also theoretical support for IA-64 and x64 processors in 64-bit mode, but only 32-bit mode has been tested. What's New in This Release: · Most of the changes are miscellaneous bugfixes, though there are a couple of which developers should take note. · The trees no longer allow duplicate keys. · A Quadtree class has been added to facilitate nearest neighbor searches. · Mutexes have been rewritten and are infinitely more useful.
