GdNewHat GNU/Linux-libre is an open source Linux operating system based on the popular Fedora Linux distribution, but specially crafted to include only free (libre) software. Being based on free software community's accomplishments, GdNewHat GNU/Linux-libre does not include closed source binary-only drivers and proprietary software. GdNewHat GNU/Linux-libre is distributed as a single Live CD ISO image, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures. In order to make GdNewHat GNU/Linux-libre more stable and a completely free Linux distribution, the developers will use the CentOS Linux operating system as a base, instead of Fedora, for future releases.
