A simple solution for extracting data in XML format from Oracle EBS 11i and 12 WYMPLiK XTRACT4J is a Java concurrent program that can create XML outputs from one or more SQL queries. This program is drop-in replacement of Oracle Report to generate XML file. The XML output can integrate with XML Publisher provided with Oracle 11i or 12 and create reports with format of your choice. Installation:1. Download and transfer the XTRACT4J zip file to the server where the concurrent manager resides.2. Unzip the archive and there're two zip files: jdom-jaxen.zip and XTRACT4J.zip. 3. Unzip both files to $JAVA_TOP:cp jdom-jaxen.zip $JAVA_TOPcp XTRACT4J.zip $JAVA_TOPcd $JAVA_TOPunzip -u jdom-jaxen.zipunzip -u XTRACT4J.ziprm jdom-jaxen.ziprm XTRACT4J.zip4. Copy the file in LDT directory to FNDLOADER LDT directory. Use FNDLOADER to upload the concurrent request SYMPLiK XML Extract (CONCURRENT_PROGRAM_SYM_XTRACT4J.LDT). If you want to install the sample queries as shown in the QUICK START guide, you can upload the MESSAGES_SYM_XTRACT4J_EXAMPLE.LDT and CONCURRENT_PROGRAM_SYM_XTRACT4J_EXAMPLE.LDT files.5. Add the concurrent program SYMPLiK XTRACT4J to a request group and invoke this program from the responsibility of this request group associated with. You can easily do this by setting up a couple of form customization outlined in this document.
