Ubuntu 12.10 Superemix is a fast, stable, and open source Linux distribution based on the world's most popular free operating system, Ubuntu Linux. As its name suggests, Ubuntu 12.10 Superemix is a remix of the Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal) operating system with all the bugs fixed by included all the released updates. Ubuntu 12.10 Superemix includes both the GNOME Shell and Unity desktop environments, but it defaults to GNOME 3. The Unity Shopping Lens has been removed, the Evolution email client has been replaced with Mozilla Thunderbird, audio and video codecs have been added, as well as popular applications like Wine and GIMP.
