Simply open a page, and if it is in a foreign language (for you), it will translate it, first using human translations from other toolbar users, then using machine translation services including Google, Apertium and others. Our goal is to eliminate the language barrier for web users, and to make the worldwide web truly worldwide.NOTE: if you speak another language and would like to help us translate the instructions for the Firefox translator and other tools in your language, email bsmcconnell AT gmail.com to help out.Toolbar users can also edit and score translations submitted by other users, so they can edit or replace machine translations with professional quality translations. This panel displays a list of people who have contributed translations to the current page and other information. The search interface allows you to search for translations submitted by other users. This is a good way to find recently translated pages or articles about a subject you are interested in.You can create and manage your WWL user account directly from the toolbar, and can also explore the WWL user community, communicate with other translators and create discussion groups about your favorite websites or topics.NOTE: see privacy policy for an explanation about how the tool operates, and how it communicates with third party translation servers to request translations.
