Yet Another Hope 2 Description

A new mod of Yet another hope theme Yet Another Hope 2 is a variation of the Yet another hope theme by Pakos, which is in turn based on Divergence IV - "A New Hope" by jurialmunkey.Developer commentsThe reason I like \'Yet another hope\' is that it is very good-looking (for those using the standard Nautilus) for both professional and casual environments. As stated for 'Yet another hope', 'A New Hope' doesn't work very well for the standard Nautilus. While 'Yet another hope' corrects that, I have changed a few things to make it more to my liking: -* This theme is slightly rounded (again), not square.* Standard scrollbars are more usable.* The colour for selected items and other highlights has been chosen to go well with most GNOME environments including that of Ubuntu, and it is also more "visible".* The included Metacity theme is the one from 'A New Hope'.I have used and provided the Ambiance Evolution Metacity theme but I have included it just for convenience. It is better to install Ambiance Evolution from its source - http://simplygreat.deviantart.com/art/Ambiance-Evolution-209420390. The screenshots show the Equinox Evolution Dawn Unity Metacity theme which is similar, but I did not include it because I could not find its source; it seems to have disappeared from the openDesktop.org websites. The default Metacity theme is also present but is used with the alternative theme Yet Another Hope 2 Evo.How to install?· Right click on your desktop and select Change Desktop Background· Click on the first tab: Theme· Drag and drop the theme's archive in the Appearance Preferences window.· If everything is OK, you will receive a confirmation message and you can activate the theme just by clicking on it.About GNOME:GNOME is an international effort to build a complete desktop environment—the graphical user interface which sits on top of a computer operating system—entirely from free software. This goal includes creating software development frameworks, selecting application software for the desktop, and working on the programs which manage application launching, file handling, and window and task management.GNOME is part of the GNU Project and can be used with various Unix-like operating systems, most notably Linux, and as part of Java Desktop System in Solaris. The name originally stood for GNU Network Object Model Environment, though this acronym is deprecated. The GNOME project puts heavy emphasis on simplicity, usability, and making things “just work”. Requirements: · gtk+ · GNOME
