A very easy to use music tutor. Ear Trainer was designed by a musician for musicians and music students. Ear Trainer is an aid in the development of a good "ear." In music school, another student is your aide, playing intervals and chords on the piano for you to identify. This software takes the place of that aide, tirelessly playing intervals and chords for you to identify. Ear Trainer helps you learn to name the sounds you hear, learn to hear better, in order to become a better musician.There are basically three parts to Ear Trainer: Intervals, Harmony and Keyboard. The Intervals dialog plays intervals, accepts your answer, and keeps track of your score. The Harmony dialog does the same thing, except with either 3, 4 or 5 note chords. The Keyboard is a mini-keyboard which enables you to hear what intervals and chords sound like.
