IDL Client Description

An open source IDL tool which provides access to OPeNDAP data in IDL The IDL Client contains a set of IDL command procedures that provide a way to access DAP data servers from IDL. Using these, it is possible to subset and read values from data servers all over the Internet directly into IDL. There's no need to worry about converting file formats or first downloading the data.The client now uses the OPeNDAP C API(v-1.33) in place of the OPeNDAP CPP API. This will remove the problems caused by runtime incompatibilities when using the DAP CPP implementation executed and instantiated by the IDL shared object modules written in C. Requirements: · OCAPI 1.33 or later · IDL
