SubAZ Description

Allows you to synchronize a SubRip file with the movie file. SubAZ is a small command-line tool that will allow you to synchronize a SubRip file with the movie file. This means that the subtitles sequence is good, but that it starts a few seconds too early or too late. Calculate this delay with a stopwatch, and then use SubAZ on the .srt file.Basic knowledge about the Terminal is required... First, install SubAZ in a directpry referred by PATH. You will then be able to use the program as follows: subaz . Examples: subaz ~/Desktop/Mukka.srt 11,500 or subaz Valley.srt -2Note that 0,5 is different from 0,500: 0,5 is interpreted as 0,005... So be sure you write the three numbers. You must also be careful and use a comma, not a point! If you use the program on special conditions (i.e. if you tell the program to shift -10 seconds a .srt file that contains a subtitle at 2 seconds from the beginning), then it's behaviour is undefined. Be sure to backup the file!Warning: This program expects the specified file to be in DOS SubRip format, meaning that line endings are coded by sequences! Behaviour not defined for other cases. This all means that you sure can use SubAZ on any file, but it will most probably end up to this:ale:~/Desktop $ subaz uhr.swf 12 Bus error
