TableLayout Editor is a Swing application which enables a layout to be edited and the resulting GUI is displayed as you type.TableLayout Editor includes features such as syntax highlighting, on the fly compilation, error underlining, and code completion (ctrl+space). Since the editor is Swing, it can be used to prototype and debug layouts for any supported GUI toolkit.A few naming conventions are used to make widget references appear as the appropriate widget. For example, "" will appear as a JButton because it ends with "Button". Otherwise, widget references will simply appear as labels. TableLayout Editor is a cross-platform utility capable of running on any operating system that comes with Java support (e.g. Mac OS X, Windows, Linux).
