If you're like me, you were stoked at first, and then it started getting on your nerves.With the debut of Panther, the Finder, among many other applications, has adopted the brushed metal texture. Now, I love the interfaces that Apple has produced, but this texture has been extremely overdone.Enter Whiteout. Whiteout replaces a system resource file with a modified version. The metal texture is changed to the original Aqua pinstripe texture.What's New in This Release:· added 10.4 support in a seperate installer package· Updated the uninstaller scripts (was a bug with using SH)· New system checks will keep you from installing Whiteout on the wrong system version.
