pyz80 Description
A free and open source z80 cross-assembler written entirely in Python pyz80 is a z80 cross-assembler written entirely in Python. pyz80 accepts text files with the syntax of the Sam Coupe's popular COMET assembler, and outputs a disk image suitable for loading in SimCoupe or transferring to floppy disk for use with a real Sam. What's New in This Release: · Add PRINT directive · Local symbols used in an included file will search the parent file to find a definition · Chooses more appropriate names for files on the Sam disk image, based on the input source filename (reported by Thomas Harte) · Fixed options --obj and -o were incorrectly conflicting (reported by Thomas Harte) · Fixed symbol names containing strings 0b and 0x were misparsed (fixed by Simon Owen) · Fixed a misparseing of incorrect instructions of the form LD H,(23) (reported by Thomas Harte)
