Autodesk SketchBook Pro Description

Designed for use with tablet PCs or digitized pen tablets, Autodesk SketchBook Pro software is your digital sketchpad. Free your creativity with Autodesk SketchBook Pro software. With a flick of the stylus, the industry’s strongest paint and drawing toolset is at your command. It features an artist-friendly, gesture-based user interface that is so fast and intuitive even new users can be productive within minutes. SketchBook Pro provides you with the necessary tools to move easily from pen and paper to a digital environment.Autodesk SketchBook Pro is easy to use and features fast, reactive drawing and productivity enhancing tools that enable freedom of expression and boost production. Here are some key features of "Autodesk SketchBook Pro":· Paint User InterfaceThe Sketchbook Pro user interface is designed around the flow and typical interactions of artists. UI elements include marking menus with one-flick access to major tools like colors, brushes, zoom, and pan; an interactive pan/zoom tool; and a floating tool that allows you to change the size of your brush as you work—without opening the brush editor.· Quality Brushes and ToolsCreate nontraditional brushes to add texture to an image to extend the creative process beyond what is possible with traditional methods. Create and save your own brushes, erasers, airbrushes, or smear brushes. Vary the size, transparency, roundness, slant, and stamp spacing of your brushes. You can also specify your own image as the brush stamp to create custom texture brushes.· AnnotationTake snapshots of your current application and load and view images or digital photographs. Use SketchBook Pro’s brushes to mark up and add comments.· Email IntegrationIntegrated email lets you communicate more effectively by instantly emailing sketches and annotations to colleagues and clients. New email messages are created automatically in your default email program with the current image attached.· Interoperability with Adobe PhotoshopIn addition to opening and saving common file formats such as TIF, BMP, JPG, and PNG, Sketchbook Pro supports the PSD format so you can interchange layered files with Adobe Photoshop. Requirements: · Graphics card capable of 1024x768 display · 256MB of RAM · G4, G5 or Intel based CPU Limitations: · 15 days trial period. What's New in This Release: · When the window is resized, it may appear black. If you move the window so most of it is off the visible part of your monitor, then back, the issue is corrected. · Undo – If the number of undos is changed in the preferences, there is no effect until a new document it created. It is recommended that you restart SketchBook. · Texture Brush – The Shape + Color Texture Brush applies paint anywhere on a layer, even areas with transparency locked. The pixels in transparency locked areas are set to remain transparent, so paint cannot be added to them; however, the Shape + Color Texture Brush does not respect this. · Note The Shape Texture Brush does not have this problem. Non-proportional Scale and Rotate – These transforms cannot be combined. If you need to do this combination, follow these steps; otherwise, there could be adverse results: · Non-proportionally scale a selection. · Deselect the selected object. · Make a new selection and rotate it. · Rotate Canvas and Zoom – The Wacom touch strip uses the current cursor position as the point it zooms from. However, when using Rotate Canvas, if you must use Zoom, be aware that the current cursor position will not be used for the zoom point. · Symmetry – When you have been using Symmetry and try to resize the canvas, the line of symmetry can be thrown off center. Creating a new layer sometimes corrects this; however, if it doesn’t, you will need to restart SketchBook.
