Currently only works in Vancouver, Canada. Requires your GPS to be on the first time you search from a new location. I use it every day, and thought you might find it useful too. This application is completely free. Please provide feedback to help me improve the application. All suggestions welcome. Have you ever wondered which buses are approaching your location, from where and in how long? For example, you may have several bus route options to get where you want to go. You just want to know which bus will be arriving first! This application is very simple, on purpose, and only needs your GPS location. So, be sure to enable your GPS while the application is running, at least initially. Once you've tagged your locations, your GPS is no longer needed. BusCompass search features include: - Based on your GPS location, finds all buses approaching you. - Tag your GPS locations, so you don't always need to enable it. This saves on battery life and is more convenient. - Indicates how far and in which direction the stops are. - Indicates how many minutes before buses arrive. - Uses a color scheme to indicate which buses you probably won't make in time (red), which you might (yellow), and which you can easily make (green). - Highlight the routes you typically take with a star. - You may change the radium to search, in meters. - You may change the time limit to search for.
