Want to know secret campus locations? Don’t want to pull out a big map of McMaster or those ones so small you can barely read it (why is there no good in between)? Want to chart out how to get from A to B without having to figure it out yourself or asking someone around you? Plan out where your classes are before you get there. You can search for buildings, restaurants and more around campus. More compressive than any paper map produced. Map your location in satellite or street view. Also contains two of the “paper maps”, in case you don’t know have internet (although on campus you can connect to MacSecure and MacConnect. You can use the satellite and street view map if you are on Wi-Fi (Such as MacSecure or MacConnect while on campus) or have network access. If you don’t have access to data, you can use two provided versions of Campus Maps. Use the Menu button or Action Bar on your phone to browse different options available such as switching campus maps, switching to satellite or street view and going to main menu. During Building Search, you can not only search for buildings, but also use the keyword food for all restaurants on campus. It will give you the option to zoom to that location on satellite map, and look at pictures and floor plans and the street view if available for satellite the menu allows you to toggle views, update your location resetting the map to center of campus. In addition, holding down on the map will give you options to place pins (with their respective address), get a route from your current location, and even get an address of the touched location.
