Fed up with voice commands not understanding the words that are coming out of your mouth? Need to navigate somewhere with a name that doesn't make sense to Google's voice-to-text engine? Spell your destination instead! I whipped this app up in a matter of hours, so please forgive its rough edges. Spelling is also somewhat clumsy - I have found that the voice-to-text engine in Android really wants to replace everything with words from a dictionary. How to use: The app brings up the speech to text engine as soon as it runs. Say your destination (without saying "navigate to"), and spell anything that the voice engine won't understand. A list of the most likely selections will appear. Choose the closest match. It will often work, even if the result is wrong, because Google Nav is good at guessing what you meant, even with typos (or in this case, sayos).
