AVI File Viewer Description

AVI File Viewer is a plugin for File Navigator that allows users to view Audio Video Interleave files right in the file manager's window or on the "Quick View" panel. In order to install this plugin, you have to move the DLL file to the "ViewersDoc" directory of File Navigator's installed files, access the "Viewers" screen from the "Commands" menu, and establish the file path to the DLL item, along with the AVI file mask. From this point on, you can open AVI files in the main window or "Quick View" panel, provided that the necessary codecs are installed in your system. You can view video information, namely total frames and frame dimensions, ask File Navigator to play the audio stream, as well as change the video position. The plugin does not affect File Navigator's functionality, leaving a small footprint in the resources usage area. We have not come across any issues in our tests, since AVI File Viewer did not hang or crash. All in all, this plugin comes in handy to all File Navigator users who want to view AVIs within the file manager.
