As the name of this program implies, Adusoft Photo DVD Slideshow allows you to create DVD slideshows from images. It supports several formats, namely JPG, JPEG, BMP, ICO, EMF and WMF. The interface of the tool is plain and uncomplicated. Images can be imported via the file browser, since the 'drag and drop' method is not supported. Before turning photographs into DVD slideshows, you can rotate them, set thumbs and the slideshow duration, as well as add music. But you can also edit the DVD menu by selecting one of the 14 presets. Alternatively, you can specify your own background photograph. Plus, you can add text and an audio track. In the final step you can edit the DVD volume, select the drive and TV system type, as well as make the app record the slideshow to the disc, or to create a DVD folder and disc image. From the 'Option' area you can adjust the DVD quality, change the default working folder and make the app eject the DVD disc when the task is done. Adusoft Photo DVD Slideshow supports multiple skins for the interface, has a good response time and quickly finishes a task while using a moderate amount of CPU and system memory. We have not come across any problems during our tests; Adusoft Photo DVD Slideshow did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. No recent updates have been made.
