For programmers and others who are already familiar with these number systems, BiScope serves as a base conversion calculator. BiScope displays one number in four different formats (binary, hexadecimal, octal and decimal). The main role of BiScope is to visually demonstrate how these different number systems relate to each other (for instance, why the hexadecimal number "FF" is equal to the binary number "11111111"). Holding the mouse cursor over any hexadecimal or octal digit provides immediate visual feedback about its relationship with the binary number.
