Express Notes Description

Express Notes lets you store and organize notes on your computer. Typically this software is used as a phone or address book, diary or card file but it can be used for just about anything. Some examples include todo lists, recipes, customer records and more. It is as easy to use and as flexible as a paper cardfile but by using your PC you can search, order and organize notes faster. The list of notes in the current book are displayed on the long window on the left pane of the main window.To select an existing note, simply click on its name in the list. To create a new note press Ctrl+N. When you create a new note the text will be the default template text. You can change the default template text using File -> Book Properties. The name of the note is displayed in bold in the yellow heading on the top right of the window. To name or rename a note just edit this text. To delete a note select it and press Ctrl+Del. You can delete multiple notes at the same time by holding down shift while selecting then pressing Ctrl+Del. When typing the note, Express Notes will automatically detect website addresses and underline then so when you click on the link opens in Internet Explorer. The same can be done with email addresses but you must type "mailto:" in front of the email address. Then when you click on the email, Express Notes opens it with Outlook Express. Express Notes is a free and easy-to-use notes diary. Main features: Stores free form and ordered notes. Phone book template and diary creator included. Default templates for each book. System wide hot key assignment for fast activation. Allows you to copy, paste or import text from other documents. Automatically detects web links and emails that open with Internet Explorer or utlook when clicked. Prints any or all of your notes directly from the program Quick search function.
