Fast Unlock Kool is a very easy to use software solution that was developed to help users lock and unlock essential Windows tools. With a “one window does it all” approach, Fast Unlock Kool is aimed especially at rookies, but also at professional users who don't want to waste time setting up complex applications. Regardless if you're trying to re-enable specific Windows utilities after a virus reached your data or you're simply trying to block access to a bunch of built-in features, Fast Unlock Kool is there to help you. You can for example disable the run menu, registry editor, task manager, Command Prompt and Control Panel, but you can go even further and block the right mouse click. Furthermore, Fast Unlock Kool comes with dedicated options to disable desktop icons, folder options and prevent homepage changes, with this last feature especially helpful when trying to deal with malware content. Last but not least, it can reset the home page and the Windows title, Explorer search and Yahoo Messenger Pager view. There are no settings to play with, and this is indeed good news for beginners, and no help file to provide more documentation on the built-in features. It obviously lacks many important features, such as a password-protection system to prevent others from changing your configuration. Overall, Fast Unlock Kool is a handy product, although there are many things to be improved in the next versions.
