FeedGarner Description
FeedGarner is an RSS aggregator that can read RSS and Atom feeds. Yet another one, I hear you say... The friendly interface of the program will make it easier for you to use it. True, FeedGarner is hardly the first of its kind but the reason why I resorted to writing my own is I could not find a free aggregator that would meet my personal requirements. For a start, I really do not lile the Outlook-like, three-pane interface most have adopted. Conversely, FeedGarner has an interface reminiscent of iTunes that allows for a more pleasant browsing experience. FeedGarner is more than simply an aggregator; it also is a "podcatcher", a Podcast client. As it is enclosure-aware, FeedGarner can download media files (podcasts) directly to your favourite player (well, it will in the near future... ;). Currently, it downloads podcasts to a folder of your choice). iTunes and Windows Media Player will be supported.
