The slideshow supports images with different widths & heights. Features: Flipping tiles slideshow creates a slideshow out of given images. What`s unique about this application is the transition effect between the slides that happens. Current image is split into 16 pieces. These pieces flip and spread out and then reassemble with the pieces of the next image. The show appears within a viewing area. The images can be as big as the viewing area but smaller too. There are several things that you can change. Variable that help changing many aspects of the slide show are well commented in the source code made available. Number of images and their order can be changed. The show supports images with different heights and widths. You can change number of tiles the images break into during transition from one image to the next. All the images are stored in a movie in separate frames. The wait time between images can be changed. You can change the position of the slide show in the viewing area. It can centered as default or you can specify absolute co-ordinates. The time taken in the transition can be set to your liking as can the variable that decides if the show is to be repeated or not. Source code in the form of FLA is made available. This opens with Flash 8, Flash CS3 and Flash CS4. The effect of the application is viewable in Flash player 9 and above. ActionScript use is AS version 2.0.
