Guitar Tuner Description

In music, having a good tuned instrument is crucial, since the harmony of the entire piece can be spoiled by an ill-tuned instrument. This little, free and easy-to-use program allows you to tune your guitar by emitting the sounds that correspond to each of the six strings of a common guitar so you can compare them with the sound of your guitar string and make the corresponding adjustments. As you may know, there are many different guitar tunings, but this program supports only the standard or classical tuning (sixth string in E low, fifth string in A, fourth string in D, third string in G, second string in B, and firs tring in E high). To tune any of the strings of your instrument, you only need to select the note on the program's interface and click on the Play option. The program will emit a sound corresponding to the note, so that you can compare it with the sound of your guitar's string. Besides being absolutely free, the program is very light and easy to use. In fact, you don't need to install it since it comes as an executable file. Thus, you can place it to your desktop and click on it every time you need to use it. On the other hand, you can't expect any advanced or extra function such as a metronome or anything else. Even its interface is very straightforward, having only three options: Play, Stop and Exit. Download it only if you need an extremely simple guitar tuner. Victor Hernandez Editor rating:
