Image Vault Description

If you share your computer with other users, then you are probably looking for ways to keep your personal files away from their prying eyes. If the private files are pictures, you can rely on Image Vault, a dedicated software solution that enables you to password protect your graphic files. The software solution runs without any issues and before you get to enjoy the app’s functions, you need to create a vault - assign it a name and choose its location, then enter the password that will be used to protect its contents. You need to make sure you choose a passphrase that cannot be easily guessed by the other users, but that can be easily remembered by you (if you forget it, there is no other way to retrieve your locked files). Once the vault has been created, you can start adding the you want to keep private by moving them to the newly-created vault. You can create as many vaults as you like, as long as you make sure you do not forget the password corresponding to each one.
