JTray lets Java developers add icons to the Windows System Tray (Taskbar Notification Status Area). This quickly makes any Java application more attractive and intuitive to Windows users.Tray icons can have Tool Tip Text which appear during a mouse-over. Balloon Messages are supported in Windows XP and 2000. Icons can easily be animated. Several formats can be used as icons: gif, ico, jpg, png, and java.awt.Image objects.JTray can display Java AWT and Swing Components as pop-ups. This allows developers to modify the look and feel and add powerful menu items.JTray works in Windows 98, Me, NT, 2000, and XP, and has been tested with JRE 1.3 and 1.4.Individual, Team, and Site licenses are available. Individual covers 1developer, Team covers 5 developers, and Site covers unlimited same site developers.
