The program looks good and the GUI's layout helps new users quickly discover the purpose of each feature, without even the need for a help manual. Simply add the images you wish to convert to the list, pick an output folder and you're ready to go. Jouba Images Converter works with the most popular image formats on the market, including GIF, JPG, PNG, BMP and TIF. There are some good news for experienced users too. An advanced options screen lets you play with some other editing tools in order to resize, rotate or add text and image watermarks. There are plenty of configurable parameters waiting for you in there, such as custom resolution, watermark position, new file name and rotation angle. Jouba Images Converter is most of the time a resource-friendly application, with just a moderate CPU usage experienced during our testing when processing large batches of photos. The problem however is that it crashes all of a sudden every once in a while for no apparent reason. This happened on Windows 7 exclusively, so it works okay on older versions of the operating system. The conclusion is rather positive: Jouba Images Converter is a handy project as long it doesn't crashes. It does its job very well and doesn't require more than average computer experience.
