NavRepository Description

NavRepository is a powerful, complex and easy-to-use repository tool for MS Dynamics NAV. NavRepository eases development and maintenance of Navision objects by providing local repository for NAV objects, and thus allowing integration of NAV with external version control systems, such as SVN or CVS. NavRepository makes easier the daily work of NAV developers and advanced users. NavRepository creates a local repository for the Navision objects (forms, reports, code-units, etc.). This way unintentional modifications of the synchronized objects could be easily reverted. The local repository, created by NavRepository is designed in a way, to be easily accessible by the version control systems, such as SVN or CVS. The user interaction is concentrated in two main actions - committing of objects' changes or reverting the changes. Actions for each modified object are suggested automatically. The user can commit the action as suggested, revert it, or change it to another suitable action for this type of change.
