UceArchiver Description

The UceArchiver application was designed to be a program for cleaning up the UceArchive folder where Microsoft Exchange dumps messages that are detected as "Unsolicited Commercial Email", also known as SPAM. Microsoft Intelligent Message Filter (IMF) is a part of Microsoft Echange Server with the purpose of identifying Unsolicited Commercial Email, also known as SPAM. IMF has an option to block messages identified as UCE already at the SMTP Gateway. The problem arises when IMF suddenly blocks a message that was not really UCE. There is a option to archive UCE instead of just deleting them. The messages will be saved to a folder called UceArchive. This folder will fill up very quickly if you receive many UCE messages. To Prevent this, you need to clean up messages on regular basis. When executed UceArchiver will enumerate all files with a .EML extention in the UceArcive folder. Using the file creation date it will delete all files older than certain number of days. Before deleting a message it will Extract the to-address, from-address, message subject and spam confidence level and write these data to a log file.
