ieSaver Description

The ieSaver is a useful add-on component for IE (Internet Explorer). It provides extended commands for you to save, view or print some particular contents on web pages when you use IE to surf the Internet. Generally when you open a web page to read something you are interested in, there are so many spaces are occupied by other undesired contents such as commercial banners and links. If you want to save a very long article to a file for reading later (especially for users who use Text Reader for Pocket PC), you have to push your mouse button and scroll down lines by lines until you select all of the article. Then you have to copy it to an editor software such as MS Word or Notepad and save the content to a file. The ieSaver just lets you right-click the article, select the save text command and specify the file name. That's it. The whole article is saved. Some times you want to print an article on a web page, your printer only prints out the left part of each line and cuts the right part invisible. Even if you select the content and print the selection, it is still possible that some lines are not printed correctly. The ieSaver provides you show the item only or print the item commands and lets you just print out the whole article without line cutting. Most of web pages consist of HTML tables, in which many undesired contents are displayed. Those undesired contents interfere with reading and printing. The ieSaver removes those undesired contents and only shows the content you need. When you right click on an item and select an ieSaver command, the ieSaver parses the current web page, finds the content you just clicked on and save or print the content only. If the content text is not ANSI char-set, ieSaver saves it as Unicode file. Requirements: ■ Internet Explorer 5.01
