urlybird is an application designed to be an URL Capture Agent for Windows systems. It is a system tray URL sniffer that monitors Windows Clipboard allowing you to effortlessly record web page addresses you'd like to visit. URLs - they're all over the place. In this web site, that email that you just got done reading, that .doc file you received yesterday, the magazine laying over there... You'd like to visit them, but when you get online you don't feel like digging through your emails to find them. You can't remember which document it was in, and that magazine is loaned to a friend... Even if you run across one that inspires the effort to visit, you have to interrupt what you are doing to go there to bookmark it if you're even online, or copy the link and paste it somewhere and save it, or scribble it down on a piece of paper destined to get lost. You don't even have to issue a paste. urlybird sits patiently in the System Tray and monitors the Clipboard. Whenever new text is sent to the Clipboard, urlybird checks it, pecks out the URLs and holds them aside. You don't have to issue any great care in highlighting the URL, just swipe past it with your mouse - it will be parsed out, trimmed up and presented in a confirmation dialog (which can be suppressed) for your approval. You can even highlight and copy multiple URLs at a time.
