As far as the interface is concerned, the main application window has a clean and intuitive structure, letting users navigate a tree view or work with a standard file browser to locate a specific image. Extended file support Apart from the PEF format, the program offers support for a few popular extensions, such as BMP, JPG and TIFF. It is possible to zoom in and out of the picture, view its normal size or fit it to the window, as well as prepare it for printing. There are no other notable features provided by this piece of kit. Contenta PEF Viewer does not put a strain on computer performance, as it uses low CPU and RAM. It has a fair response time and worked smoothly during our evaluation, without popping up error dialogs. On the other hand, we have noticed that it takes a long while to load a folder of images, during which it temporarily freezes.
