International Time 2004.12.03 Description

Discover how this progam will help you keep track of the local current date and time of any of your contacts who live in a different time zone to yours. Once you have entered the relevant data into the program, with a single click of your mouse, you will be able to view the current date and time of your contacts. Your contacts could be loved ones, friends, work contacts, work colleagues, and even online friends. Ideal companion to chat programs. Features: · it enables you to enter up to 16 entries (which at the time of design seemed more than enough but more can be added if required), · it is designed to run in the system tray, · it will popup a small window displaying just the relevant data when the system tray icon is right clicked, · the small popup runs on a timer (set by you) so that it automatically closes after the set period of time, · it will open up the main interface when the system tray icon is left clicked. From this interface you can add new entries, delete old ones,... · it uses a unique colour scheme to let you know if an entry has been modified thus alerting you to the possible need to update your data before doing anything else, · it displays your data in a table (with an optional grid) to make it easier for you to view your data, · the rows in the table can be set to "hot tracking" if you like having a whole row selected simply by moving your mouse over any row of the table (no clicking involved!), · you can associate a glyph (which is a small icon) to each of your contacts to make your entries more "personal" (there are lots of glyphs included for you to choose from), · it will display the time in 12 hour or 24 hour format depending on your preference, · it works out for you if the date of a contact is "yesterday" or "tomorrow" (because of the time zones), · it enables you to access a Time Zone web site with a single mouse click (in case you need to find out the hour offset between you and your contact). There is a default Time Zone web address included with the program, and you can easily change it to another one if you wish to, · it enables you to print the data in case you need to keep a hard copy of all your data (which is highly recommended), · it has an interface that is highly configurable in that you can change many parts of its interface to have it looking just the way you want it. To that end, you can change the background colour, the photo displayed, the colour scheme used for the ON/OFF "buttons", the table font,... · it can be made to load automatically with Windows, · it can be made to automatically run minimized to the system tray when it is run, · it can easily be uninstalled if you find that it does not meet your needs.
