JWAD Description
JWAD (pronounced "JAY-wad") stands for Java Web-App Debugger. It's a free tool developed by Barney Marispini of Solarbox. It's used to display Java objects tucked away in the various scopes of a web application. It prints the key/values of attributes, parameters, cookies, headers, etc. in a user-friendly DTHML console. JWAD greatly simplifies web development by revealing the state and scope of each object in a web application. In addition, JWAD is lightweight, fast, configurable, and non-intrusive. Its ultra slick UI makes it very intuitive to learn and use. JWAD can also be toggled off and on directly from the deployment descriptor. Therefore, the ability to conveniently debug is always at your disposal without having to modify code. JWAD is a must for every Java web application developer toolbox! Requirements: ■ Java Runtime Environment SE 5, ■ Java Runtime Environment EE 1.4, JSP/Servlet container
