WildGuppy Description

WildGuppy is an open source, free, small and simple graphical software designed especially for the Ubuntu OS, allowing users to easily and quickly adjusts a laptop's brightness. WildGuppy also features an automatic mode for adjusting the brightness, fully configurable by the user via a GUI (Graphical User Interface), where they can set the minimum and maximum brightness level, as well as the time interval (in seconds). The software, which is actually an indicator for the Ubuntu Panel, uses the integrated webcam to take samples, which will be used to automatically set the brightness. A “Feeling Lucky” mode is also provided.
