Oikyo Linux Description

Oikyo Linux is an open source and customized edition of the world’s most popular free operating system, Ubuntu Linux, specifically designed for end users. It features three different desktop environments (Unity, GNOME and KDE) and includes numerous open source applications. The Unity user interface is the default one, but users are able to easily and quickly switch to GNOME or KDE directly from the login screen. Various visual effects are also provided by default for an eye-candy and modern desktop experience. Oikyo Linux is distributed as a single Live DVD ISO image, supporting only the 64-bit architecture. It can be easily installed, just like any other Ubuntu flavor.
